As part of this year’s 800th anniversary of Magna Carta celebrations join the Curator for a tour of the College’s first exhibition ‘Magna Carta and the Loss of Liberties in Victorian Art’. Including paintings such as Millais’ Princes in the Tower, Holl’s Newgate: Committed for Trial and Long’sBabylonian Marriage Market the show investigates how the Victorians used art to explore the idea of human rights and the principles of Magna Carta.
The tour is free and there is no need to book but if you are coming by car please contact the Curator in advance to register your car registration number
