Join researchers from Queen Mary, University of London for a slice of East End life at the launch of a new collaborative exhibit at the Ragged School Museum.

The exhibit, “Ragged Children, Mended Lives: Childhood and Philanthropy in Late Victorian London” uses original research and previously unseen materials to explore the lives of children in the old East End and the complex legacy of the philanthropists who tried to improve their lot.

This guided view of the exhibit will be a chance for guests to enjoy the new panels and explore the Ragged School Museum itself – Dr. Barnardo’s original Free School for the poor, and one of the East End’s most unique and little-known architectural spaces.
