Experienced industry professionals, working in academia, will discuss the ever-evolving industry and the important issue of copyright holders being paid fairly for the use of their compositions and performances. A topic that has had considerable media attention in the past year, but the full consequences that are rarely explained in detail to those using on-demand services, and unpaid downloads.
The potential outcomes of not upholding the copyrights of composers and performers will be explored and discussed in depth with an opportunity for audience Q & A.
On the discussion panel:
Keyboardist, Songwriter, Radio & Television Presenter
London College Of Music Honorary
Co-founder Green Man Festival, London College Of Music Course Leader
Former Chairman Music Producers Guild, Artist Manager, London College Of Music Course Leader
This event is suitable for music makers and fans alike.
