In this Concerts & Colloquia event chaired by Sareata Ginda, founder of Darker Music Talks Tommy Darker explores popular revenue streams for musicians in the digital world

During recent years, the music world has undergone huge change. CDs and physical used to dominate sales, which was sufficient to make healthy profits for the whole industry. Then, it was digital sales and iTunes.

Today, streaming is the main way in which audiences consume music, yet most musicians cannot make a living simply by getting their songs streamed. Even small labels struggle. Yet, we see a growing number of independent musicians sustaining a living in the digital world. How do they do it?

In this session, we’ll discover popular revenue streams for musicians in the digital world. Are they the future, or will we face further changes?
