Theo Turpin was born in Sussex and lives and works in London. Since graduating from Camberwell College of Arts in Drawing in 2008, he has exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally.
Between 2012 and 2013 he was artist in residence at Palais De Tokyo where he made numerous works including a solo project exhibited at the institution, and is currently undertaking a residency at The Embassy of Foreign Artists, Department for Culture of Republic and State of Geneva. He has also exhibited at Bienale D’Anglet, The Forgotten Bar in Berlin and Bold Tendencies in London, and is currently studying for a Masters in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.
This talk has been programmed to coincide with the exhibition I Never Lied to You at Camberwell Space Projects, an exhibition of work by recent BA Fine Art Alumni of Camberwell College of Arts.
