UK higher education institutions are under great pressure to demonstrate their worth in terms of world-class excellence and global reach. Conservatoires are well positioned to contribute to this discourse of success.
However, with classical music proving unpopular in some local contexts, and music graduates in need of new employment opportunities, conservatoires are beginning to look at how the local might be world-class too. Presented by Dr Biranda Ford.
