On September 18th Cass Business School will host our Fourth Cass Business School Summer Leadership Symposium for practitioners and academics to discuss and explore issues in leadership. Past themes have included leadership and the professions, multidisciplinary approaches to leadership, and political leadership. This year, we aim to explore the idea of ‘Responsible Leadership’ seeking to answer, although not limited to, the following questions:

a) What is responsible leadership?

b) How does it manifest in personal interactions, teams, organizations as well as whole industries?

c) What are the limitations of the concept?

To curate a debate and discussion that will span both the practical functions of leadership and the values-laden understanding of ‘responsibility’ we have invited 15 senior professors and business leaders from around the world. Sessions will be chaired by Cass Business Schools’ Professor Andre Spicer, Professor Laura Empson, Professor Jo Silvester and Dr Amanda Goodall.
