Relational Geographies brings together emerging and established UAL artists whose work explores relationships between measurement, movement, distance, and time.
Drawing on Brandon LaBelle’s definition of sound as creating ‘a relational geography that is most often emotional, contentious, fluid, and which stimulates a form of knowledge that moves in and out of the body’ (Acoustic Territories: Sound Culture & Everyday Life, 2010), the exhibition takes the visitor on an intimate and poetic journey through inner and outer spaces.
Ultimately it becomes a space where to rethink and understand the relationship between us and our environment.

Curated by Camilla Palestra.
