Part of the Deal Festival, this concert celebrates sixteenth and seventeenth century Venice at the height of its powers with the music of Giovanni Gabrieli and his contemporaries. The Guildhall School’s cornetts, sackbuts, and Woodwork Recorder Consort perform alongside the Academy of Ancient Music and Choir of Canterbury Cathedral.
