Step into an enchanted world at Blackheath Halls this July, as Trinity Laban Opera presents Benjamin Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Shakespeare’s magical, comical tangle of love and mischief is brought to life by one of Britten’s most sparkling scores, featuring folk song, parody, and moments of riotous comedy and stunning beauty.
Leading Trinity Laban Opera is a fantastic creative team, including conductor Diego Masson – one of the world’s leading exponents of 20th century music – and director Olivia Fuchs, whose 2005 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Royal Opera House won great acclaim.
So join the talented young cast as they bring this wonderful opera to life, with a performance full of colour, fun and energy, all coated with a liberal sprinkling of fairy dust.
