A symposium on presenting artists’ film and video works in churches and Cathedrals. The programme includes viewings of films from the touring exhibition, an interview with the artist Suki Chan and two seminars on the practicalities and potential of showing film and video works in churches.
Speakers include: Marjorie Allthorpe-Guyton (President of AICA UK), Suki Chan (artist), Richard Davey (art critic and Chaplain to Nottingham Trent University), Peter Doll, (Canon Librarian at Norwich Cathedral), Judith King (Artistic Director of Arts & Heritage) and Paul Bayley (co-curator of the exhibition ‘A Light Shines in the Darkness’ alongside FVU).
