A one-day symposium with internationally recognised scholars and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and debates focusing on women and girls as producers of a variety of media texts, including film, television, and new media. The all-day symposium
The symposium features over 20 papers from international media scholars, plus a keynote lecture by Professor Mary Celeste Kearney (University of Notre Dame, USA). Invited speakers will feature in thematic panels and there will be breakout sessions in adjacent rooms.
Lunch and refreshments are provided and the symposium will be followed by an informal networking event at The Sir Richard Steele Pub in nearby Belsize Park.
