Middleton’s blackly comic and fantastically grotesque masterpiece is given a fresh look by MA Acting Classical students and director Mark Bell (The Play That Goes Wrong). By exploring the use of bouffon, as espoused by Jacques Lecoq, this production will explore the moment when those unearthing corruption face the point where they themselves have become corrupt: ‘When the bad bleeds, then is the tragedy good’.
