This information event is exclusively for TCCE member academics and professional staff.

We would like to invite academics and professional staff from TCCE member organisations to join us for our forthcoming information event to find out how to get involved with this year’s Inside Out Festival.

TCCE’s Inside Out Festival, now in its 6th year, is a week-long, London-wide festival and will take place w/c Monday 19th October 2015.

The aim of this highly diverse, cross-disciplinary and very successful festival is to showcase the enormous contribution that TCCE member institutions make to the public life of the capital. The festival is a great opportunity for the academic body, from world renowned professors to early career researchers, to engage in new conversations and formats and to develop innovative approaches to engaging their research beyond the confines of the academic community. Furthermore, it is a unique opportunity to be part of a large scale initiative that successfully attracts substantial media coverage.

Previous cultural partners have included: Tate Britain, The October Gallery, ICA, National Portrait Gallery, British Academy, Somerset House, The Museum of Brands, Palgrave Macmillan, Freud Museum London and the RSA.

Details on the last Inside Out Festival can be found here.

If you would like to be involved in the festival as a mode for showcasing your research to the wider public in ways that may not be feasible under normal academic constraints or are interested in developing and producing collaborative activities with artists or arts organisations, then this information event will be of interest and we would encourage you to join us.

You will hear from a number of academics who have led/contributed to festival events in 2014 (Vivi Lachs, Royal Holloway University of London, Dominic Johnson, Queen Mary University of London and Sarah Wardle, Middlesex University London), as well as getting an overview of PR, how the festival runs, what support TCCE can provide and what we expect and need from you going forward.

Please note:  we do not have the resources to provide funding for activities. We do however promote activities and provide other support where we can.

This event is open to TCCE member academics/ professional staff.  To register, please BOOK NOW.

If you are a cultural organisation and would like to host a festival event, please get in touch with Georgina Potts by email in the first instance at georgina@tcce.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you.
