The first play by a living female playwright to be performed at the National Theatre, True Dare Kiss follows the coming-of-age of four young women as they try to reconcile their hopes and dreams with the realities of living in 1980s Manchester.
Love, lust, domestic turmoil, unemployment, ambition and failure compete to challenge the tight unit that the girls once were.
