10th July, 2014
UAL have great pleasure announcing the opening of Art Matters, on Thursday 10th July 2014 at 5pm. The show comprises of works of art from primary schools, secondary schools and Colleges with widening participation connections to UAL within Newham, and includes work from one of UAL’s Level 2 Saturday Drawing Programmes, part of the Sorrell Foundation’s National Art & Design Saturday Club.
This year’s show is not only a celebration of the talent of pupils across Newham, but an important and timely reminder of the vital role that the arts play across the whole curriculum. UAL and Newham art teachers are keen to ensure that the subject continues to be given prominent and significant status in schools, and that all pupils have access to a positive cultural, artistic experience.
Private View: 10 July, 17:00 – 19:00 For more information, visit the UAL website.
We have come across some really excellent, impactful and innovative examples of student led #KE in our work, we are looking forward to hearing more from these case studies and getting an overview of the recent Engaging Students in KE call from @ResEngland at this @InfoTCCE event twitter.com/suzietcce/stat…
