This will be the UK premiere of the film “Rites of Love and Math” by Reine Graves and Edward Frenkel, in the presence of the film’s co-director Edward Frenkel.

Edward Frenkel is a professor of mathematics at University of California, Berkeley, member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and author of the New York Times bestselling book “Love and Math”.
The film will be introduced by Jan Harlan, producer of Stanley Kubrick’s films “Barry Lyndon”, “The Shining”, “Full Metal Jacket”, “Eyes Wide Shut”, and the director of a feature length documentary about Kubrick, “Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures”.
The screening of the film (26 minutes) will be followed by a panel discussion with Edward Frenkel, Jan Harlan, and David Berman.
Dr Berman is head of cultural engagement at the School of Physics and Astronomy at Queen Mary University of London. He has extensive experience of the interaction between the sciences and arts most recently exhibiting with Turner Prize winner Grenville Davey.
