Join Trinity Laban’s  talented final year Musical Theatre students at London’s Stratford Circus for this entertaining musical comedy based on the book by Larry Gelbart.

Set in the glamorous, seductive Hollywood of the 1940s, City of Angels chronicles the misadventures of Stine, a young novelist, attempting a screenplay for movie producer and director, Buddy Fidler. Interweaving two plots, one dealing with the writing of a screenplay in the classical Hollywood era; the other, the enactment of that screenplay, City of Angels is a clever, fast paced thriller that honours the Hollywood film noir genre of the 1940s, while comically trashing the system that spawned it.
