Christine Quinan (Universiteit Utrecht) examines the idea of gender surveillance and policing using Leslie Feinberg’s Drag King Dreams as a departure point, which portrays the experiences of trans/genderqueer folks and Muslim immigrants just trying to stay alive in post-9/11 New York.
