Trinity Laban Percussion Ensemble – 2 May
Directed by Michael Doran, the talented Trinity Laban Percussion Ensemble performs a varied programme of works and arrangements for percussion.
Horn Ensemble With David Johnson – 6 May
Erasmus exchange horn professor David Johnson, from the Conservatoria della Svizzera Italiana, Lugano, visits Trinity Laban to work with our horn ensemble. Programme to include Ifor James’ Left Bank, an arrangement of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and other items for 8 –12 horns.
Trinity Laban Harps And Friends – 13 May
Join our popular harp department for a feast around the world with harp, wind and string instruments, featuring music from Mexico as well as repertoire from Bach to Donatoni. Led by world renowned harpist Gabriella Dall’Olio.
Trinity Laban Saxophone Choir – 9 May
Programme to include Donizetti’s Sinfonia for Winds, William Howarth’s Shopping Trolley Drag Race and Nigel Wood’s Partial Eclipse. Directed by Gerard McCrystal.
Piano Trios – 16 May
Featuring Saki Matsumoto, piano, Rebecca Windram, violin, and Amy Goodwin, cello, and Giulia Semerano, piano, Marta Ramirez, violin, and Huseyin Gundoğdu, cello. Programme to include Brahms’ Trio in B major, Op 8 and Beethoven’s Trio No 3 in C minor, Op 1.
The Parnassus Ensemble – 20 May
A fantastic Baroque ensemble of students and recent alumni performing works by Muffat, Lully, Bach and Handel.
Vladimir Halicek, Piano & Raya Humphreys, Piano – 23 May
Programme to include Schubert’s Four Impromptus, Op 90, and Grieg’s Sonata in E minor, Op 7.
Becca Marriott, Soprano & Giulia Semerano, Piano – 27 May
Programme to include songs by Faure, Gian Carlo Menotti and Samuel Barber.
Beaira Trio – 30 May
Trinity Laban students Benjamin Copeman, flute, Raisa Zapryanova, viola and Aileen Henry, harp, perform Rameau’s Pieces de clavecin en concert No 5 in D minor, Damase’s Trio for flute, viola and harp and Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp.
