London College of Fashion’s BA (Hons) Bespoke Tailoring students are holding a ‘Work in Progress’ showcase open to press, industry and the public in the Newburgh Quarter of Carnaby.
Final year students from the course will preview their collections in an exhibition that explains the process of making tailored garments through delicate cloth samples, pattern making, textile manipulations, hand sewn techniques, first fit toiles, sketchbooks and final garments.
This show offers a rare opportunity to learn how cloth is moulded and manipulated to reflect the human form and view the work of these talented future tailoring industry leaders.
