Central Students and Alumni Perform Across the Capital for Charity

On 26 November, a group of Central Alumna performed alongside a line-up of some of the world’s biggest music starts including Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift at the Winter Whites Gala. The Gala evening, held at Kensington Palace, raised funds for Centrepoint and its mission to end youth homelessness and build a brighter future for homeless young people.

Then, on 1 December, Central’s current 3rd year BA (Hons) Acting Music Theatre students took the stage with Principal Lecturer and Pathway Leader, Wendy Gadian, at the Make A Difference Trust’s 10th anniversary concert ‘A West End Christmas’. The evening, hosted by Gaby Roslin, also featured performances from a number of West End stars and theatre companies. The concert raised nearly £10,000 for the MAD’s Trust Hardship Fund, which supports individuals from all sides of the entertainment industry who are struggling to cope with the uncertainties that arise when living with a chronic illness.
