The Culture Capital Exchange launched a new ECR network to spark new collaborations between researchers and enable members to discuss issues of mutual interest. TCCE invited all ECRs from member universities, which was followed by networking drinks and a unique curator-led private view of the ‘Pop Art Design’ exhibition at the Barbican.
The event was the first opportunity for ECRs from the TCCE community to discuss expectations of the new network. It was determined that ECRs coveted a network which acts as a voice for researchers; a network which provides a space and database for collaborations, access to models of best practice for engaging with arts organisations and businesses, and facilitated discussions, events and online forums to create links and exchange knowledge. Since the launch at the Barbican, the network has been fully realised as an innovative and useful tool for ECRs.
