Director Zachary Dunbar
Designer Manuela Harding

A god, disguised as a mortal, descends on the city of Thebes with his band of worshippers – the Bacchai – to establish his cult.

The leader of the city attempts to stop him, pays with his life and brings about the destruction of the royal household. This summer Dionysus bids us to play in the Embassy theatre. Take sides. Lose. Die. See again. Hear. That’s the ticket.

This production will take place subject to confirmation of performing rights.
