Three finalists compete in one of the most popular and prestigious competitions in the Trinity Laban music calendar.

The Soloists’ Competition showcases some of the Faculty of Music’s most talented young performers. The three successful students competed against strong competition for their place in the final, with over 100 students participating in the first round in January.

After tough decisions in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, these three will each perform a concerto (with piano accompaniment) at Blackheath Halls to win the opportunity of performing their chosen concerto with the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martyn Brabbins on Thursday 13 June.

The three finalists will be announced on our website following the semi-final on Tuesday 16 April.
