We are delighted to welcome back Sian Edwards to conduct this special concert to celebrate the 70th Birthday of one of our well-loved composition Professors, Stephen Montague. Stephen was Composer in Residence at Trinity Laban from 2003-2004 and then joined our teaching staff where he has been a leading figure in curating some of our most innovative and collaborative performances over the recent years. An internationally celebrated composer, we are excited to be performing his Requiem (for Peace!). The programme will also include Copland’s Billy the Kid Suite and a performance of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 1 performed by the Trinity Laban 2012 Soloists’ Competition winner, Lucie Czajkowska.
