A lecture, performance and open discussion with Taiseer Elias, a leading figure in classical Arab music in Israel and Dr David Dolan from the Guildhall School.
Coming from two different musical cultures and languages, David (piano) and Taiseer (Ud) will search for a shared musical dialogue through duo extemporisation. Dr Elias will also conduct a workshop on 15 January from 9.30am – 12.15pm in the Lecture Recital Room.
