Trinity Laban Contemporary Jazz Ensemble – directed by Mark Lockheart with special guests Oren Marshall and more to be announced.
Svengali (an anagram of Gil Evans) is a celebration of the music of Gil Evans. The performance will be in two parts, the first focusing on music from the 1960 album Out Of The Cool and the second featuring Gil’s later jazz rock-influenced material, drawing mainly from the albums Svengali, There Come A Time and Plays The Music Of Jimi Hendrix.
This concert is part of the London Jazz Festival.
