Professor Michael Shattock
Making policy in British higher education: what defines the distinctiveness of the system? This is the second seminar in the 2012/13 series. The CHES seminars provide a forum for debate and analysis of issues affecting policy, practice and research in higher education, supporting the exchange of views and experiences across higher education. Seminars are normally held at 5:30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month at the Institute of Education.
The presentation will be based on Making Policy in British Higher Education 1945-2011 which draws extensively on previously untapped archival resources; the book is to be launched at the conclusion of the seminar.
For further information please visit the Institute of Education website or contact Alison Peacock.
