Design communication is an integral part of our day to day lives; and as new platforms and new media emerge, our show will explore the place and possibility of illustration practice in 2012.
Camberwell College of Arts plays a central part in London’s cultural landscape. Our work pushes at the boundaries of fine art and design communication and questions the role and application of illustration. It draws on a range of craft techniques, drawing skills and digital processes to produce a diverse set of outcomes from sculpture and three-dimensional work, through print and paint, to interactive and screen based media.
During the week there will be various workshops and events, including the Sunday Market, where we will be holding a raffle of artists work to raise money for the charity Art Against Knives.
For more information please visit the Camberwell College of Arts website, or follow them on Twitter or Facebook. Other useful websites are Mixed Special and Red Gallery London.
