Royal Holloway: Diamond Jubilee Garden Party

Come along and bring your family and friends to join the celebrations at our annual Garden Party in aid of local charities. We will have a large screen TV to follow the activities taking place in London throughout the afternoon.

Attractions will include: craft and local community stalls, children’s activities and magic shows, children’s rides, live performance from the Royal Holloway Gospel Choir, and our amazing raffle. There will also be a talk by Professor Nigel Saul on ‘Good Kings and Bad Kings … and Queens’. Tours of the Picture Gallery and campus (£2 per person, per tour). Refreshments on sale will include cream teas and BBQ. The Students’ Union ‘Insanity Radio’ will provide music and commentary.

The Alumni Reunion Tea (admission by ticket only from the Alumni Office) will be held in the Founder’s Dining Hall between 3-5pm. A Foundation Day Service will be held in the Chapel at 6pm.
