Professor Andrée Grau, from the University of Roehampton, London will present a paper entitled ‘Training Future Heritage “Managers”: Critical reflexions, focusing on dance as intangible cultural heritage.’
Managing heritage is becoming more and more part of the cultural industries, so training the heritage managers of the future has and will become particularly relevant.
Her presentation is part of Panel 06 ‘Intangible heritage and the challenges for the theory and practice of anthropology’ at the Anthropology in the World conference held at the British Museum, 8th – 10th June 2012, and organised by the Royal Anthropological Institute in conjunction with the British Museum Centre for Anthropology.
