18th May, 2012
A unique opportunity to spend an evening in Stone House, a privately owned Grade II* listed Palladian-style villa in Lewisham.
The evening will start at 7pm with a reception in the dining room decorated with a beautiful mural by local artist Peter Kent. You then move to the first floor music room where Helena Bayliss, ambassador to Blackheath Halls Community Opera, will talk about the music of Cendrillon, our 2012 opera, its composer Massenet and the music of his time. The talk will be illustrated by live performances by opera singers.
Stone House can only accommodate 60 people, so please book your tickets early by contacting Helma Zebregs at h.zebregs@trinitylaban.ac.uk or by telephoning Helma at the Halls.
For more information please visit the Trinity Laban website.
