The Creative Process Series was an exciting discussion series produced by The Culture Capital Exchange and The British Academy. Three debates were chaired by Professor John Sloboda at The British Academy; the first focussed on Sciences, the second, Social Sciences and the final, Arts and Humanities. Each debate brought together a high profile panel from the sciences, social sciences and arts and humanities respectively to contribute their perspectives on the theme. The discussions surrounded the importance of the creative process in the development of ideas and research, what it entails and how it can best be nurtured. The series illuminated how approaches to the creative process differ across and within disciplines, and allowed for knowledge exchange between academics working in different fields.
