LCACE’s inaugural conference held at The Unicorn Theatre and supported by the London Development Agency and ACE, London.
The key aim of the day was to stimulate thinking about and awareness of the potential for collaborations between Higher Education and the Arts.
Speakers included; Charles Saumarez-Smith (then National Gallery), Charles Leadbeater, Sally Jane Norman (then Culture Lab), Bronac Ferran (then Arts Council England), Julie Taylor (then AHRC), Prof Rick Trainor (KCL) and many others.
