Time:

Clore Management Centre, Birkbeck, University of London, WC1E 7HX

The London Centre for Arts and Cultural Exchange hosted an information event about the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Knowledge Transfer Fellowship Scheme. The scheme, which was still relatively new at the time, was outlined in detail by a representative of the AHRC. The event was primarily designed for those who were developing an application for the November 2007 and May 2008 proposal deadlines. Two recipients of the Fellowship presented their projects and discussed the fellowship application and process. The Fellows’ studies investigated the Wyndham Lewis Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery and  accessing virtual museums in prisons, a collaboration with The Fitzwilliam Museum. LCACE academics, their partner organisations and other interested individuals were encouraged to attend the free information and networking session.

Contributors/Speakers: Kezia Parry, AHRC; Professor Paul Edwards, Bath Spa University College; Dr Sally-Ann Ashton, University of Cambridge.
